For today, we have a 30% chance of showers and storms with our high temperature climbing to about 89 degrees. Winds will be out of the southwest at 10mph.
Both the NAM4 and HRRR are in agreement for what kind of rain we can expect today. Both don’t expect Hickman County to get much if anything; showing all the rain going mainly north of us. Here’s the current HRRR loop from 9am this morning through 11pm tonight.
Our rain chances decrease a bit more overnight to 20% chance of rain and thunderstorms with the temperature dipping to 71 degrees.
Thursday
The heat returns starting Thursday with a high temperature of 90 degrees under mostly sunny skies. A high pressure system moves in allowing the saturated grounds we have to dry up a bit.
Thursday night temperatures fall to about 70 degrees under partly cloudy skies.
Friday
Friday gets a little warmer with a high temperature of 92 degrees under mostly sunny skies as well. Friday night temps drop to about 69 degrees under mostly clear skies.
Saturday
The start to the weekend looks hot and dry. Saturday’s high temp is expected to reach 92 degrees under sunny skies. Saturday night overnight lows will fall to about 72 degrees under partly cloudy skies.
Sunday
Rain chances start creeping back on Sunday but it looks like during the day will be dry with a high temperature of 92 degrees under mostly sunny skies.
Sunday night a 20% chance of rain and showers return, setting us up for a wet first part of the workweek.
